Personal Philosophy by Jim Rohn
I feel today we need a little of motivation and self help guidance and who better than Mr. Jim Rohn. Mr. Rohn passed away last year but his words will live forever. Mr. Rohn is my mentor and I read everything from him. At times, we are so worried about how not to panic, or not having another anxiety attack or even finding the best solution of how to stop anxiety that we forget to take time to develop ourselves into magnificent human beings.
I believe that personal development, motivation, and success self help has definitely helped me in many ways in dealing with failure, doom, and depression symptoms. We always need the extra push. I do hope that today you decide to start learning and healing.
Here’s the post from Jim Rohn, hope you enjoy!
Personal Philosophy by Jim Rohn
Economic disaster begins with a philosophy of doing less and wanting more.
If you want to amend your errors, you must begin by amending your philosophy.
The only thing worse than not reading a book in the last ninety days is not reading a book in the last ninety days and thinking that it doesn’t matter.
Your personal philosophy is the greatest determining factor in how your life works out.
Initial response illustrates a great deal about someone’s personal philosophy.
Only human beings can reorder their lives any day they choose by refining their philosophy.
The key factor that will determine your financial future is not the economy; the key factor is your philosophy.
Don’t borrow someone else’s plan. Develop your own philosophy and it will lead you to unique places.
If you learn to set a good sail, the wind that blows will always take you to the dreams you want, the income you want, and the treasures of mind, purse, and soul you want.
Your philosophy determines whether you will go for the disciplines or continue the errors.
Philosophy is the sum total of all that you know and what you decide is valuable

The best medications sold to the public as the ultimate mental health treatments are not in our best interest. If you do not agree just read below.
I read a lot. I read as much as I can. Health, business, finance, internet, and sports are the topics that most interest me. In regards to health related issues, I tend to read almost everything that gets to my hand or computer screen. Today, I am reading and old issue of Forbes Magazine.
Forbes has an interesting article in its November 2009 issue. Yes, I know it is old but it has been in my “pack of magazines” to read. Of course, I also have a big stack of books on my desk. Nevertheless, the November 2009 Forbes edition has some interesting facts about “Mental Health Treatments, Page 68, Nov 2009 Forbes Magazine.”
This article states the following:
- $1,657 Monthly Cost of treating schizophrenia with Seroquel.
- $1,433 Monthly Cost of treating schizophrenia with Zyprexa.
- $1,131 Monthly Cost of treating schizophrenia with old drug (perphenazine).
- NONE Differences in patient quality of life between drugs
** Source: American Journal of Psychiatry, December 2006
The article continues stating that –Last year new schizophrenia drugs such as Seroquel from AstraZeneca and Zyprexa from Eli Lilly edged over cholesterol drugs–. Yet, no immediate difference was noted in patients from these new drugs compared to other older medications.
This article and many other studies suggest that there is just not a better medication for anxiety or any other mental health related disorders.

Below, you will find short snippets of depression and anxiety attacks related resources which I think are invaluable,. You need to read them and go the websites for more information.

Here they are:

Depression is a condition in which a person feels discouraged, sad, hopeless, unmotivated, or disinterested in life in general. When these feelings last for a short period of time, it may be a case of “the blues. But when such feelings last for more than two weeks and when the feelings interfere with daily activities such as taking care of family, spending time with friends, or going to work or school, it’s likely a major depressive episode. Major depression is a treatable illness that affects the way a person thinks, feels, behaves, and functions. At any point in time, 3 to 5 percent of people suffer from major depression; the lifetime risk is about 17 percent. Three main types of depressive disorders-major depression, dysthymia, and bipolar disorder-can occur with any of the anxiety disorders.

Depression is a healthy coping strategy. Trying to feel better by drinking alcohol, dwelling on how badly you feel, or hoping anxiety or depression will go away on their own can lead to worsening symptoms. The word “exercise” may make you think of running laps around the gym. But a wide range of activities that boost your activity level help you feel better. Certainly running, lifting weights, playing basketball and other fitness activities that get your heart pumping can help. But so can gardening, washing your car, or strolling around the block and other less intense activities. Anything that gets you off the couch and moving is exercise that can help improve your mood. You don’t have to do all your exercise at once, either. Broaden how you think of exercise and find ways to fit activity into your routine. Add small amounts of physical activity throughout your day. For example, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park a little farther away at work to fit in a short walk.

Depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain that medication can correct. According to the chemical imbalance theory, low levels of the brain chemical serotonin lead to depression and depression medication works by bringing serotonin levels back to normal. However, the truth is that researchers know very little about how antidepressants work. There is no test that can measure the amount of serotonin in the living brain – no way to even know what a low or normal level of serotonin is, let alone show that depression medication fixes these levels. While antidepressant drugs such as prozac increase serotonin levels in the brain, this doesn’t mean that depression is caused by a serotonin shortage. After all, aspirin may cure a headache, but it doesn’t mean that headaches are caused by an aspirin deficiency. Furthermore, many studies contradict the chemical imbalance theory of depression. Experiments have shown that lowering people’s serotonin levels doesn’t always lower mood, nor does it worsen symptoms in people who are already depressed. And while antidepressants raise serotonin levels within hours, it takes weeks before medication kicks in to relieve depression. If depression were due to low serotonin, there wouldn’t be an antidepressant medication lag. When it comes to depression, serotonin doesn’t tell the whole story. Experts agree that depression involves much more than just “bad” brain chemistry. Serotonin is just one of many factors that may play a role in the disorder.

In recent years, with burgeoning research progress, we are finding out that depression is much more common than many of us thought. At least 15% (and likely more) of women take an antidepressant during their lifetime. Depression is much more common in women than in men, but the reason for this female predominance is unclear. 3 Tips to Defeat Your Fear of Flying
Filed under: Fear, Flight Anxiety, Mental Health, Self Help
I need a vacation but I just can not see myself in an airplane as I do fear flying. My family and I have not had a few days off in a long time. We all need a little fun desperately. After researching a few resources about “fear of flying,” here are 3 tips you can use to defeat, conquer, overcome (whatever word you want to use) your fear of flying.
I can tell you here, that after the tragic of 911, the war in Iraq, I have NOT flown anywhere and as a matter of fact all I have done with my family has been to local area attractions and 2 days stay at a hotel. Yes, no kidding.
Every year, the number of people that are having a hard time with defeating their fear of flying is increasing. If you think that you are at risk or have fear of flying or you know someone who is already suffering from this condition, the best way to address the problem is to determine if there is really a “problem”.
You see the problem lies in that we don’t talk to anyone about this until it is time to get into the airplane and then we get hit by an extreme case of anxiety.
Our fear of flying can cause great agony. You would be blessed by having your professional doctor or psychiatrist diagnoses YOU sooner than later in trying to help you conquer flying phobia. This is because the problem could be addressed in its “infancy” stage so more options would be available.
The first thing that one can do is to check the symptoms of people who are diagnosed fear of flying. Some of the common symptoms of the phobia include acute anxiety or nervousness during the take off and all throughout the flight.
Other manifestations of the condition might also include nausea, dizziness, vomiting, muscular tensions, motion sickness, excessive sweating, heavy breathing, palpitations or increased heart rate and uncontrolled shaking or trembling of the person’s body.
If these symptoms above have happened to you and you had no previous knowledge or warning about this disorder, then there is a great need for you to seek professional help as soon as possible.
The diagnosis of aviophobia is usually made by the psychologist who will offer fear of flying treatment. He or she will also assess by asking about your fear of flying, how it started, and the extent or the severity of the fear which may affect your life (I know the feeling, so, please get advice soon.)
Going to a psychiatrist is one of the basic treatments in defeating fear of flying because he or she will give you another perspective on the condition and will also help you handle the condition especially if it has reached phobic proportions. The following are 3 tips that you can follow in order to defeat fear of flying:
1. Be knowledgeable. This is the best thing that you can do in order to overcome with fear of flying. If you are educated about flying, you will know that accidents don’t happen all the time. And if these will, you will know what to do since you have already taken time off to know more about this occurrence. Experts say that the greater understanding there is when it comes to flying and about all the things that usually take place during flights, he or she will get hold of the fear that grips his or her emotions.
2. Know what actually scares you. This is the basic thing that people who have phobia in flying should do because if they will know what it is that they fear in flying, they can address these issues on themselves with a help of a professional such as a psychologist.
3. Stop thinking too much. Experts say that although phobia in flying is valid, it all stem from the person’s imagination. So, if you are in a flight, it is best not to think too much about what might happen. If you do this, you will experience peaceful flight without having to worry about anything. Most of the people who have deep seated fear of flying have reached this stage because they tend to think of too many things while aboard. The tendency is for them to have panic attacks and prolonged dizziness. In overcoming fear of flying, one must try to relax during the flight.
Attention Deficit Disorder, 5 Ways to Start Taking Control Of Your Life
At first glance, it would seem that positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) have nothing to do with one another. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.
Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:
1. Take Good Care of Yourself
It’s much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.
2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don’t seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.
3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member’s bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don’t waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.
4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner “You’re ALWAYS late!” or complained to a friend “You NEVER call me!”? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like ‘always’ and ‘never’ makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.
5. Detach From Negative Thoughts
Your thoughts can’t hold any power over you if you don’t judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don’t follow it.
Having Anxiety Attacks Due to Work Stress
Filed under: Anxiety Symptoms, Depression, Fear, Mood Disorders, Self Help, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, stress
I am having anxiety attacks at work.
To give you more insight… today, I am having sharp pains in my chest that anyone else would go to the hospital thinking it is a heart attack. Yet, I know better.
Job related stress is taking a toll.
It has taken me almost 4 years to feel comfortable at my current work environment. It is somewhat interesting when you know and understand that I am a manager and have people I supervise. My job you can say is professional and has career growth and advancement potential.
I do feel that what I am doing has a career path with great growth potential yet I am always feeling unsecured and anxious for most of the time.
Although, I manage… it is hard for me to supervise and confront people… so, I guess I have social anxiety disorder, my problem is that these feelings are happening every day.
I fear losing my position. At the level that I am at… it is not easy finding open positions where I can land a job tomorrow. I am getting depressed even thinking about it.
I am always asking and searching for answers on how to stop anxiety and its related disorders that I know if I don’t deal with them and conquer them, then they will take over… can not let that happen. This is one of the reasons I started this blog. The Anxiety Help Blog is my escape.
Anyhow, lately, my boss, has chosen to help, guide and mentor a underlying of mine. The problem is that the person is an excellent staff member, productive and hard worker so for me there is no way I can step in and deny my boss’s request for helping this person advance within the company yet I find myself dealing with these negative thoughts that they would let me go and have her in my place.
You do not understand, I can’t work like this, I know the anxiety symptoms and I am getting close to a full blown anxiety attack.
I got to be positive. If you are reading this entry… let’s try to not have anxiety attacks due to work stress… let’s both work on learning how to stop anxiety.
Best Anxiety Medication Used for Treatment
In this blog post, we will once again, list some of the best anxiety medications used for anxiety attacks as well as associated problems.
This definitely one of my biggest topic when researching anxiety and panic disorder treatments. I am most intrigued on knowing everything about these medications.
For the most part, the best anxiety medications that are used are:
· Antidepressants
· Anti-anxiety drugs
· Beta-blockers
Using any of these medications may help you to live a normal life.
The medication selections must be determined by a professional doctor and the physician will need to know all the background that the person has had in terms of previous treatments. A physician must conduct a thorough evaluation to determine if they are indeed being affected by anyone of the mental health conditions.
Also the physician must establish as to what particular disorder they are working with. If you have a combination of mental disorders, they must also be identified so that the physician will learn how to treat it.
The doctor also needs to know whether you have received treatment from an existing or a past stress and anxiety disorder problem… again, the medical practitioner needs to know that. They also need to know what medication was given and the dosage.
At this time all treatments needs to be disclosed. Let your physician know about any negative effects. In addition to any therapy that was provided and if it was beneficial to you.
It is important to know that there are many folks that feels that the treatment they received did not benefited them. Sometimes, it may be that they may not have had time for the process to change or it was not done correctly. Other individuals may have to go through different supplements or treatments to find what will work for them.
Medication seriously isn’t the cure all for anxiety disorders and connected problems. However, medication can control these conditions while anyone is receiving therapy. Medicine can only be used in case your physician prescribes it.
Antidepressants
Originally, antidepressants were used for therapy of a depressive disorder. However, they work for those that are struggling with anxiety disorders. They work to change the chemistry within the brain. Once the initial dose is taken, it takes a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks before the symptoms will go away. The medication must be taken as directed in order for this to work.
· SSRIs – Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors - these antidepressants work to change the level of the communication of the brain cells. The various more established ones are Prozac, Zoloft and Lexapro.
You can use them to manage any anxiety disorder that is certainly mixed with social phobia, depressive disorders or OCD. Since many are newer, they do not have as many unwanted side effects. However, those that use them may experience being jittery or nauseated in the initial stages of taking them. This is only temporary.
· Tricyclics - These antidepressants are older than SSRIs and are used for anxiety disorders aside from OCD. They are administered with a low dosage and increase gradually.
Negative effects include being dizzy, dry mouth, drowsy and weight gain. This can be eliminated by adjusting the medication dosage or using another remedy of the same form of antidepressant. Tofranil is needed for GAD and panic disorder; Anafranil is used for OCD.
· MAOIs – Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors - most are the oldest of the antidepressants available to use for these conditions. It is mostly used for anxiety disorders, attacks and related ailments.
Many of the more established ones are Nardil, Marplan and Parnate. When taking MAOIs, you will find certain snacks and drinks you have to avoid. That would include cheese and red wine.
In addition to that, you can not take Advil, Motrin, Tylenol or any other pain, cold or allergy relieve medication. Plus, women will not have the ability to use certain types of birth control tablets. Natural vitamin supplements are also off limits. Mixing MAOIs with any of these can cause a negative reaction.
· Anti-Anxiety Drugs – Drugs like benzodiazepines are highly potent. They work to fight off anxiety and also have almost no negative effects. Being drowsy may be the only one that’s noticeable. This medication is only prescribed for a brief time period. Doctors are weary about providing them to past drug abusers.
Because people will get easily hooked on them, they look for additional doses so they can keep going. Nevertheless, if the person has panic disorder, they are able to use these drugs approximately 12 months.
For social fear, Klonpin is used and Ativan can be used for panic disorder. The most common antidepressants available is Xanax, that is used for General Anxiety Disorder and panic disorder.
If a person stops taking benzodiazepines all of a sudden, they can go through withdrawals; the anxiety attacks can come back to haunt them. This really is one reason why some doctors are leery about using this meds or use them sporadically.
Another anti-anxiety medication is Busiprone and it can be used for GAD. Often times there are negative effects that include nausea, headaches or dizziness. This is taken different than benzodiazepines. Busiprone must be taken every day for no less than two week before anyone will feel the anti-anxiety outcome from the medicine.
· Beta-Blockers - Beta-blockers are used for treatment plan of heart conditions. They can be helpful to keep away physical indicators that determine anxiety disorders. Beta-blockers are utilized in situations for example if a man or women is providing a speech in front of some others, a bet-blocker is known to keep those symptoms at bay.
If you are taking relief medication for an anxiety disorder, you must do the following:
· Have your general practitioner to suggest you on what remedy will be effective for your problem.
· Have the medical professional consult you on how the medication works and can you handle unwanted effects from consuming the medicine.
· Inform a doctor of medicine of other medications you might be taking. They may hinder the dosage of the drug anxiety disorders.
The doctor should advise you on the medication dosage and how you are directed to take it. Additionally they need to advise you on how you need to stop taking it when the time comes. With medication, some of them can actually activate systems that may cause panic attacks. Physicians should always commence with a lower dose after which they can work their way up.
Depression and Anxiety battles as Artie Lange Attempts Suicide
Filed under: Anxiety Remedies, Anxiety Symptoms, Depression, Mood Disorders, Self Help
On Jan 7, 2010, The New York Post reported that troubled comic Artie Lange, Howard Stern’s sidekick, landed in the hospital after stabbing himself nine times in an apparent suicide attempt.
The newspaper continued by reporting that Lange sustained six “hesitation wounds” and three deep plunges.
You can Read more at: http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/stern_sidekick_in_suicide_try_5m9Hwhn1OvpONlzbsiW3oJ#ixzz0dGOdIMKv
Artie Lange has been compared and labeled as a self-destructive comedian equal to Chris Farley and John Belushi. Yet, this account of self inflicting wounds that the authorities are calling a suicide attempt boggles the mind and the soul. Manic Depression, anxiety attacks, and who knows what more, oh yes, drugs, are the demons of Artie Lange.
Too much drugs, too much depression, and extremely high levels of anxiety, leaves anyone with very little hope…
How far out can we go that gets us to a place where we do not want to live anymore?
Here’s a little table for us all that should put this suicide attempt into perspective:
from the CDC website: www.cdc.gov/nhcs/fastats/suicide.htm
Suicide and Self-Inflicted Injury
(Data are for the U.S.)
Health care use
* Number of emergency department visits for self-inflicted injury: 594,000
Source: National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey: 2006 Emergency Department Summary, table 13
Mortality
All suicides
* Number of deaths: 33,300
* Deaths per 100,000 population: 11.1
* Cause of death rank: 11
Firearm suicides
* Number of deaths: 16,883
* Deaths per 100,000 population: 5.6
Suffocation suicides
* Number of deaths: 7,491
* Deaths per 100,000 population: 2.5
Poisoning suicides
* Number of deaths: 6,109
* Deaths per 100,000 population: 2.0
{Editor’s Note: please focus on that this table is deaths per 100,000 population}
At the moment, it is also reported that Artie is out of the hospital and healing. Yet, it seems to me that this train is heading to a “head on collision” and the end of this story will not be pretty. I do hope not but this is how I am seeing it today.
I know that for those who read this blog this time of the year might not be the best… we just had the holidays here is the U.S. and that meant for many of us all the shopping, meeting and parties we really did not want to attend or do.
Yes, very high levels of anxiety and desperation.
Now, we are in the new year and that meant resolutions, goals, maybe a new job, career change and who know what else… but we also have to be in alert due to the economy, housing, then Haiti earthquake, and many more issues… just too much.
As you can maybe feel from the tone of this blog post I am feeling a bit tight and yes I can feel anxiety chest pains. But anyhow, we all know that there is a solution and that there is an opportunity for us all to learn how to stop anxiety.
I repeat myself--get anxiety help now. I am not sure if there is such a thing as a best anxiety medication. I go more for the natural remedies and here at the blog we have recommended Gabatrol.
--
Finally, my number 1 advice for 2010 is: to educate yourself… want to learn how to stop anxiety attacks.. then read, research, learn!
As for Artie Lange, I hope that he can find peace with himself and live a long life… yet the other days in my church a lady said this: “God is really close to us yet we are so far.”
Artie Lange if you read this blog --> God is really close to you, how about if you get closer to Him.
Peace.
Manic Depression, Are You Taking Manic Depression Seriously?
Filed under: Depression, Depression Medication, Mental Health, Mood Disorders, stress
Manic depression or Bipolar depression is actually considered as one of the most horrible type of depression that people usually experience from. This is something that we all need to be taking very seriously.
The National Institute of Mental Health defines Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, as a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks. Symptoms of bipolar disorder are severe. They are different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through from time to time. Bipolar disorder symptoms can result in damaged relationships, poor job or school performance, and even suicide. But bipolar disorder can be treated, and people with this illness can lead full and productive lives.
Usually typified by sudden and extreme changes in their ambiance, Manic depression is said to be called as such because manic = mania refers to the ‘ups’ while depression refers to the ‘downs’.
A lot of people actually experience erratic changes in their moods, some times, these so-called mood swings may not just be caused by PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome) or stress. Doctors actually have diagnosed mood swings as a common symptom of depression.
But when these so-called mood swings have gone to highest irrationality, from getting annoyed even by the littlest or simplest of things like not getting your favorite ice cream flavor, this may not be just a sign of spoiled brat, but when getting annoyed means you’ll cuss and swear on the ice cream vendor and throw absurd tantrums, this may already be the start of Manic depression.
The so-called ‘manic’ or ‘ups’ in Manic depression is described as to be the times when a person suffering from Manic depression may experience overly high periods, consisting of heightened energy, a sudden outburst of euphoric mood, extreme irritability, thoughts racing as well as aggressive behavior.
According to professional therapists, a person suffering from Manic depression may have these so-called manic ‘episodes’ where sudden outbursts of euphoric and elevated mood swings may actually go through this for as long as not just a day, in can actually go on for as long as one week, even longer than that.
When it comes to the so-called ‘low’ or ‘down’ periods, as its name suggests can actually bring someone who is suffering from Manic depression may experience very similar symptoms to those who are suffering from actual depression. People who are suffering from Manic depression may actually experience episodes showing a depressed state of mind -- a feeling of worthlessness and being unloved may start to corrupt the individual’s mind. Various symptoms, showing guilt, extreme sadness, anxiety attacks, feeling of not belonging, extreme pessimism and obvious loss for pleasure. According to the professional doctors, an individual who is depressed. consistently for more than a week can officially be diagnosed as someone who is suffering from Manic depression.
In spite of being one of the most common, yet severe type of depressive disorder, Manic depression, according to doctors can actually be treated. There’s no reason to worry too much about it, just follow the proper procedures that the therapist will instruct you to do, take the best anxiety and depression medications as well as the proper dosage in order to help you (or your friend or love one) overcome Manic depression before it becomes too late. Also, individuals who are suffering from Manic depression should always be able to see their therapists on a regular basis so as to be able to release their pent up emotions to some one who can interpret and understand what they’re going to a lot better as compared to “normal” people.
Although positive results for a Manic depressive patient can still be achieved from natural alternatives, a proper and a more lasting relief from Manic depressive symptoms can still be best acquired through seeing cognitive behavior therapists. Contrary to some beliefs, when it comes to psychiatric treatments, psychiatrists, preferably cognitive behavior therapists are still the best ones to consult for Manic depression, as well as the ones who’ll most probably be able to cure Manic depression.
Blood Pressure and My Anxiety
Filed under: Anxiety Remedies, Anxiety Symptoms, Self Help, stress
Another health issue that I have is High Blood Pressure.
I am also over-weight.
At times, and depending on the level stress compounded with my anxiety disorder, my blood pressure rises through the roof. I am taking lisinopril for this but that does not stop it from being high at times.
Am I worried… a bit. My mother died from a heart attack that resulted from the high blood pressure problem she had. I need to be careful and take care of myself.
So, here is a bit of information in regards to high blood pressure which I am hoping that it helps you.
The National Heart Lung and Blood Institute define High blood pressure (HBP) as a serious condition that can lead to coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, and other health problems.
“Blood pressure” is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps out blood. If this pressure rises and stays high over time, it can damage the body in many ways.
If you have high blood pressure, you are going to be more at danger for many diverse types’ health problems. Your body is not going to be healing well after an injury and it will not repair itself after being sick.
You can read more at The National Heart Lung and Blood Institute.
Now that we know that high blood pressure is something that can lead to a many difficulties during your lifetime. Here are some “easy” tasks that you should think about doing.
First, See a Doctor. You are too valuable to take this lightly.
Second, you should get plenty of exercise. Try getting your heart rate pumping for a period of time several times a week. Basically, go to the gym or create a gym in a section of your house. This is a good way to keep your heart in shape. Also, make sure that you do whatever is necessary to reduce your high blood pressure numbers.
Third, You will need to eat a good diet and stay away from high fat and cholesterol and that you should be doing whatever is healthier for your body when it comes to the food.
Finally, If you Doctor prescribed high blood medication then take it religiously. Do not skip, forget, or not give it importance. At the end, my mother died by not giving that much importance to the Doctor’s orders and the HBP medication. Any kind of medication will have a huge impact on your blood pressure.
There is a lot of different talk about how thing that we do in life will affect our body. You have to figure out that your blood pressure is something that can be dangerously damages your health. It is going to be very important that you know what to do in order to keep your body healthy.
Have a great 2010.
